Voltan Motorsports stands out from other teams as we have a team identity of engineering high-performance solutions to have a measurable impact. We apply this in initiatives to have a positive impact on our local and the greater community. We conduct many fundraiser events, supporting people near us and around the world in disasters or other events. These can range from cookie sales to sports events, all towards one cause - to have a measurable impact on our and the wider community
Our team members participated in the 2026 113 Series Johor Triathlon hosted at Marlborough College Malaysia. This was a large-scale event and we managed to place 4th for the Under-16 category. This not only showcased our team identity by training our endurance and time management skills by maximizing output per input, but we also raised 380 MYR, the proceeds of which went to charitable causes.

DECEMBER 2025
We ran an online campaign on our instagram pages where we left links to GoFundMe pages for victims of the Bondi Beach Shooting in NSW, Australia in December 2025. Our stories amass the largest amount of views, and we decided to run this campaign via instagram stories. These pages raised approximately A$5,000,000+ (~RM14,000,000) for the victims of this attack.
To support international humanitarian missions as a result of famines, conflict, and natural disasters in Sudan, Palestine, and Afghanistan, we organised a bake sale selling halal-certified cookies and refreshments in school hours. Proceeds of 90 USD (approx. 400 MYR) were donated to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). This initiative demonstrated our ability to mobilise small-scale local events into measurable international social effects.

AUGUST 2025
In order to improve our drivers' reaction time and to foster a community spirit, we conducted joint reaction time training sessions with Auron Racing. We used agillity drills and utilised tennis balls to conduct partner drops, wall rebounds, and tossing drills. This showed a large improvement in reaction time, with our driver reaching an average reaction time of 0.180s, a huge improvement from the previous 0.210s.
In response to the severe floodings in Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi and Kulai in late March 2025, our team members gave presentations to raise awareness in our school. Furthermore, we implemented a QR-based donation system to the Malaysian Red Crescent Society, who aided the evacuation of nearly 10,000 people from affected areas.
